One low risk basic trading system I do miss in your EAs-collection. It is the pair-trading strategy. Is there a reason you did not implement it yet?

Maybe it is simply the weekend and they have familes to attend to? Seriously, they have a great product but I've noticed everyone has an opinion when it comes to EA. They want to add an indicator here or a MA there to "filter" out more of the bad trades. This is needless meddling. This stuff works - if u let it. Of course you will get bad trades on occasion and as far as breakouts are concerned, you will get many. The key is not to risk so much and hope to catch the big ones with the trailing stop. Besides, FX Bling has an EA for every market condition. You can simply copy their basket settings to get their results.

I would like to use Bling on more than one demo account for testing different brokers.
Although using the correct registeredAccountNumber I get many times a day Error connecting to server messages

Is this a server problem or is it a problem with more than one demo using same key?

Is the EA than not working in case of that error?

Does anyone else have this problems?

Hi Gagahlin,

EA is not a turn on and leave it if you are turning it off during certain trade times. I don't mind turning it off, but it would be helpful to know when you are turning it off. And easy start to that is to have a place in your Member's area or on you Blog area that just shows us the days of the current week that you are not going to trade certain EA's so we can turn them off when you have them off. That would be very easy to do to just keep us informed by blog or member area when you are turning the ea's off. You mentioned that you were going to do this---when will this be implemented?
Thanks

Hi Gagahlin,

Great to know that you will have update for Fractals 4 to switch on/off Low Volatility or High Volatilty. Would you also be able to address of risk parameters for each system?

Currently:

- High Volatility System is controlled by Risk parameter. (i.e. percentage of equity to risk per trade). Would be great if you can offer option to use fixed lot sizes defined by user.

- Low Volatility System controlled by the Aggressiveness Parameter. However, I'm not sure how the Aggressive setting translates to lot size and risk per trade?

- Might want to have a separate Risk setting for Low Volatility System and a fixed lot size option as well

Hope you can consider my feedback for future updates to Fractals 4

Hi Gagahlin,

The above discussion about turning various EAs off when market conditions indicate they should be turned off is a great idea.

It would help fulfill what your sales letter promises when it says...

"You do not have to do absolutely anything other than turn on your computer on, connect to the internet and run the software."

When do you plan to implement this?

Hi,

For Fractals 4, does anyone know how to only allow the EA to trade the low volatility system? The high volatility system has been causing quite a few losses so I was hoping to switch it off, if possible

Appreciate any advise

Hi Gagahlin,
1. will you recommend we use VPS so that we can run the EA 24 hour all the time?

2. So far from your experience, which VPS is the most reliable?

3. Or what is the best way to run the EA for 24 hour all the time because connection in our own home may be can not achieve 100%?

Thanks

i agree with poster above. instead of having customers deal with the days/times to not trade just either hard code the days into the EAs or have them check your servers. servers checks would be more responsive to unscheduled or breaking news in the event of a world event. this would be the best most idiot proof way :)

i trust Lin's judgment on when i should not trade his software

news avoidance should be a high priority feature.
